#1's of the World and/or First Issues is a fascinating field. We collect the whole world, but not necessarily every stamp that ever was issued. We are provided the opportunity to study the history, geography and relationship of every country/stamp issuing entity through the pursuit and study of its first stamp as each of them takes their place in the changing times of this world.

I started collecting #1's over 25 years ago. The following net price list is an outgrowth of my interest in this field.
